EVENT/CLINIC/LESSONS/RETREATS & ONLINE CONPONANT BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bookings Registrations are accepted by Lynley Bolt - Balance & Awareness only upon payment of the Clinic deposit (which is non-refundable) and receipt of the Booking/Registration Form, Liability form and Terms and Conditions signed by the participant.

Payment in full is required to secure your place on the clinic before the commencement of the Event.

Until your clinic is paid in full, it is booked but not confirmed.  Lynley bolt - Balance & Awareness reserves the right to continue to market unconfirmed bookings and accept alternative customers for your booking should the balance not be paid on time.

Cancellations The 25% deposit of full payment, is payable upon booking to secure you position, and is non-refundable.  The balance to to be paid in full a minimum of 14 days prior to the event date unless otherwise stated on the registration form.

If you are unable to participate it is your responsibility to find the replacement for your position – it is your choice to find someone to take your place and have them reimburse you directly for your fees or you may choose to gift it to them. 

If you are unable to attend the event due to illness of injury you will be entitled to transfer to another event at a later date -with six months of this events date, (with a vet or Doctors certificate) otherwise refer to cancellation policy.

At this point you are liable in full for the Clinic fee and any associated costs – for example, but not limited to, Venue fees.

In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling of an Event, by Lynley Bolt/Host or Coordinator a refund will be provided minus 25% of full fee, for admin costs, however you are given the right to transfer to another Event or Clinic.

No refunds will be given, for whatever reason, after a Clinic has commenced.

Health and Safety Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, the Lynley Bolt/Host/Coordinator and all participants have a duty to ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, the health and safety of all persons participating in all Events. All participants need to be aware of the inherent risks that are associated with all Equine activities, be it on the ground or ridden. 

The  New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 requires all participants to co-operate in order to minimise these risks.In particular, all participants must:

Ensure that they have an understanding of the risks and hazards associated with horse-riding activities

Be riding fit and ensure that their horse is fit and sound

Take reasonable care of their own health and safety, and ensure that their saddlery and safety equipment is in good condition and suitable forusing with your horse

Wear Standard approved helmets at all times when mounted

Follow basic safety procedures when handling and riding horses

Take reasonable care that their acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others

Behave sensibly and politely, considering the needs and safety of others at all times

Comply, as far as they are reasonably able, with any reasonable instructions given by Lynley Bolt

Co-operate with the policies and procedures which have been put in place to ensure the safety of participants

Reporting of incidents and risks Any incidents, hazards or risks must be reported immediately to the Lynley Bolt/Host/Coordinator so that these can be recorded and considered, and appropriate action can be taken in response.

Insurance By signing these Terms and Conditions, participants acknowledge and confirm that:

They will not seek to rely on any insurance policy that the Operator may hold in the event of personal injury or death, damage to property, or any other losses howsoever incurred during the Clinic.

They are advised to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover in place in respect of personal injury or death, medical expenses, damage to property, and any other loss or damage that may be suffered during the Clinic.

They participate in the Clinic at their own risk, and they will not seek to hold the Operator (or its employees, officers or agents) liable for any personal injury, or loss or damage to property, that they may suffer during the course of the Clinic.

Video and Photography The taking of video and photographs at events are meant only for personal use only, not for commercial purposes or public viewing. You are not authorized to publish or display any photos taken of Lynley or anyone else at the event without permission from Lynley and the person (or People) in the photo.  Please no video cameras unless you have permission from Lynley and it is only of your session/lesson

Lynley Bolt - Balance & Awareness retains the right to video and photograph and use the footage/imagery in their advertising, marketing, online courses and tutorials, please Tick the Box on the Liability form you sign.  (Please feel comfortable in the fact I will only use footage that shows you in a positive aspect).

Consent to Booking Conditions By signing these Terms and Conditions, participants confirm that:

They agree to all of the above terms and conditions

They will comply with Lynley Bolt - Balance & Awareness health and safety policies and procedures as communicated to them prior to and/or during the Event.

They give permission to receive medical assistance in the event of an emergency

By submitting your application, you have acknowledged and agreed to the above terms and conditions, you will need to sign the Liability release form  Every adult included in the Booking/Registration must sign a copy of these Terms and Conditions. A parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of any participant 18 years of age or under. In the event that the Terms and Conditions are signed on behalf of another person (“the named person”), the person signing confirms that he/she has full authority to sign on behalf of the named person, and that the named person understands and accepts these Terms and Conditions.

Horses must be in good Health on arrival at the venue.  Lynley Bolt the Host or Coordinator reserve the right to turn away any horses considered not to be in good health, and which may be a hazard to others.  If your horse is unwell please do not bring it to the course.

International Users The Service is controlled, operated and administered by Lynley Bolt- Balance & Awareness in New Zealand.  If you access the Service from a location outside New Zealand, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use the Lynley Bolt - Balance & Awareness Content accessed through balaceandawareness.com in any country or in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions or regulations.
